Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, fresh off his knockout victory over Stipe Miocic in the UFC 260 main event last month in Las Vegas, believes he can match up with the world’s best boxers, including WBC titleholder Tyson Fury.
Who is no stranger to UFC beefs.
“Boxing was my primary dream, and I still have the fire, the dream inside me, and I believe at some point I’m gonna make a step,” Ngannou told TMZ. “I don’t want to fight Mike Tyson, but I would like to fight another heavyweight boxer such as Tyson Fury.”
Fury was not amused.

Ngannou was quick to respond:

Ngannou, who turns 35 in September, has yet to make a single title defense at 265 pounds and is currently struggling to seal super fight deals in his own sport.
Not that it stopped Conor McGregor from (unsuccessfully) crossing over to the “sweet science,” but Fury still has to worry about Anthony Joshua in July before he can start entertaining another UFC dreamer.
