Floyd Mayweather will take on Jake Paul’s brother Logan in Florida.

Jake Paul may be dominating the MMA headlines at the moment, but here comes his brother Logan Paul for his big-money showdown.

It was announced on Tuesday that Logan Paul will take on the retired Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition match at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. This will air on Showtime PPV and take place one day after the Triller PPV headlined by lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr at the same venue.

Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) retired from professional fighting after stopping Conor McGregor in August 2017. He returned to the ring for a RIZIN New Year’s Eve 2018 exhibition against kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa, stopping him via three first-round knockdowns.

Paul (0-1, 0 KOs) hasn’t had a boxing match — exhibition or otherwise — since he lost his pro debut to fellow YouTuber KSI in 2019.

Logan (and Jake) obviously weigh much more than Mayweather, who’s never competed above 154 lbs. So you’re probably wondering how this is all going to work. According to The Athletic, Mayweather can’t be above 160 lbs and Logan’s limit is 190 lbs. We don’t know how many rounds this is scheduled for or if it will have proper scoring even though it’s an exhibition, so stay tuned.

If you’re keeping track, this news means we’re getting Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr on June 5th, followed by Mayweather vs. Logan Paul in the same venue the following day. The Saturday after that is UFC 263: Adesanya vs. Vettori, and the week after that is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs. Anderson Silva. There will be four pay-per-views in the span of two weeks and one of them isn’t even a sanctioned professional bout.

Spend your money wisely. (Wink wink)
