Check out the betting odds for tonight’s UFC 262 event, where Michael Chandler vs. Charles Oliveira is expected to produce a finish, as well as a new lightweight champion.

It’s time to crown a new lightweight champion as UFC 262 is happening tonight (May 15th) from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The headliner should produce a new 155-pound champion after the #3 ranked, Charles Oliveira, throws down with former Bellator king, Michael Chandler. Bloody Elbow is here with the betting odds for this vacant title fight, and with the moneylines for the rest of the card’s roster.

The odds have favored Oliveira over Chandler every step of the way here. This line hasn’t moved much, and “Do Bronx” can be found around the -125 mark. That means a $100 bet on Charles could potentially see a total payout of $180.00. As for “Iron” Mike, he is still available at a small underdog value of about +115, with a winning wager on Chandler seeing a $215 return altogether.

The most popular over/under for this matchup has been set at 2.5 rounds. Gamblers can lay the price on ‘Under 2½ rounds’ at a cost of -175, or take the price on ‘Over 2½ rounds’ for a value of +160. Considering how lethal these fighters can be, especially Oliveira, it’s not a big surprise to see the bookies banking on this one ending early. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is holding a sizable favored line of -485, with a +350 comeback on the “Fight goes to decision’ option.

You have the almost indestructible Tony Ferguson in his last fight, but other than that Oliveira hasn’t seen another scorecard since 2014 — which was a streak of 14 fights in a row that ended early. That’s wild! Charles is actually tied for first place in the UFC record books for most finishes in company history, and stopping Chandler would give him the lead at 17. That’s wild!

Oh, and Michael Chandler has been involved in four straight first-round knockouts. That’s wild! It seems like it would almost take a miracle for these two to last the whole 25-minutes locked inside of a cage with one another. Naturally, Oliveira is the fighter deemed most likely to come up with a finish. The prop bet ‘Oliveira wins inside distance’ is barley holding on to a plus line of +105, while ‘Chandler wins inside distance’ can be scooped up at more lucrative line of +165.
