A welterweight bout between Tarec Saffiedine and Scott Smith is in the works for “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson.”
MMAjunkie.com today confirmed that the bout is in the process of being finalized. MMAWeekly.com first reported the matchup.
“Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson” takes place July 30 at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The main card, including a Fedor Emelianenko vs. Dan Henderson headliner, airs on Showtime.
