Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White recently mourned the release of longtime welterweight veteran Diego Sanchez, insisting the original “Ultimate Fighter” was being controlled by “batshit” self-help guru Joshua Fabia.

Turns out it was the other way around.

That’s according to Fabia, who insists he was an impressionable victim caught up in the celebrity status of “The Nightmare.” And now that Sanchez has severed their personal and professional relationship, Fabia is ready to air his dirty laundry.

“Diego has been an addict,” Fabia told Behind the Scenes with Summer Helene. “He hasn’t told anybody for the past five months, I was his sponsor living with him. That I had to live there because he was broke and lost all his money, and strung out on Kratom and alcohol and 30 other substances. That he has sexual abuse issues. And I’ve been holding up all this. I’ve been doing everything. And everybody’s coming at me.”

Sanchez and Fabia have dominated the headlines in recent weeks for increasingly bizarre behavior, which includes but is not limited to Octagon knife fights, backstage confrontations, and the dreaded death punch.

And lots of laughter.

“I’ll put it out there, I’ll put out all the proof, I’ll put out all the videos,” Fabia continued. “Diego has clearly been taking advantage of me for two years, as I have been fighting for him, and putting myself on the line for him with zero benefit. I am the one getting death threats here.”

Sanchez, 39, was pulled from his Donald Cerrone fight at UFC Vegas 26 and given his unconditional release after Fabia confronted the UFC medical team and demanded documentation regarding “The Nightmare’s” health.

“As I get to more information as I’m with the lawyer, and the lawyer talks to Diego and asks Diego about his education, and he starts talking about he was in special education,” Fabia said. “Holy shit. Huge red flags, man. This is not, at all, what anyone who perceived, and Diego is not anywhere near what anybody knows, man.”

Sanchez is expected to release a statement at some point later this week.
