Mayweather Productions CEO Leonard Ellerbe says Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor 2 is definitely on the table.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor 2 is definitely not outside the realm of possibility, just ask Leonard Ellerbe.
Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Productions and the boxer’s financial manager, told Showtime’s Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell that a money fight sequel is on the table.

“He’s been talking a lot of mess. Listen, and what I’m saying Conor if you’re listening, you can get that too,” the executive asserted. “You can get that too.”
“Most definitely. Most definitely. Because that right there is very personal,” Ellerbe said when asked if Mayweather is open to a rematch. “I think after everything where they left the ring and they hugged, but things are a little different now. Things are a little different.”

Mayweather was subsequently asked about the rematch and said he was “absolutely” up for it, calling it an “easy” fight.
“The beef is all these guys look up to me, steal my blueprint and then get to hating on me,” Mayweather said.
The original boxing match, which marked Mayweather’s 50th professional boxing bout and McGregor’s first, was dubbed “The Money Fight” and “The Biggest Fight in Combat Sports History”. Mayweather improved his professional record to an undefeated 50-0 after scoring a 10th-round technical knockout over “Notorious.”
Mayweather is currently preparing for an exhibition boxing match against YouTube and 0-1 boxer Logan Paul on June 6, 2021; meanwhile, McGregor is training for a rubber match vs. Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 10, 2021.
