Marvin Vettori is still bitter about his split-decision loss to reigning UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, which took place at the UFC on FOX 29 event back in April 2018. Now, “The Italian Dream” has a chance to make that “wrong” right with an upset victory over “The Last Stylebender” this weekend in “The Grand Canyon State.”

“Three years ago we fought there in the same arena, and now I have the chance to go there and make the wrong right once and for all,” Vettori said on Episode 3 of UFC 263 “Embedded” (watch Ep. 1 and Ep. 2 here and here). “The last time, I still think I won the fight, but I let the judges decide for me.”

We’ll find out if history repeats itself in the UFC 263 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place this Sat. night (June 12, 2021) inside Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona, a championship headliner scheduled for five, five-minute rounds.
