Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 263.
UFC 263 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s huge show in Arizona, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at Kings MMA with Marvin Vettori. They show the belts other fighters from the gym have won. His boxing trainer says Vettori is very coachable. Vettori says that he’s improved so much in the last year.
Israel Adesanya and his team are in the hotel pool clowning around. Over at Vettori’s place, he gives his nutritionist some props. The nutritionist doesn’t call himself a chef, he’s just a scientist that likes to cook. The meal is a reminder of home.
Back at the hotel, flyweight champ Deiveson Figueiredo is working out in the hallway. He said he wasn’t 100% for the first fight. Wallid Ismail says the champ has a personal problem with Brandon Moreno now. Figueiredo would fight him right now given the chance.
Romulo Barral! Wow. He’s Vettori’s BJJ coach, and he talks him up. Vettori went out of his way on fight week to go see him because he has so much knowledge.
Back in Phoenix, Adesanya talks about the Jan Blachowicz fight. The setback motivated him. Brad Riddell’s coach talks about his matchup with Drew Dober. They think Riddell’s intensity is something Adesanya can feed off of. Outside, Adesanya takes a pic with a young fan that said he’s favorite Adesanya moment is when he knocked out Ricky Martin.
And that’s it! UFC 263 goes down this Saturday in Phoenix.
