Jake Paul predicts a late stoppage victory against Tyron Woodley on Aug. 28
YouTuber Jake Paul has won all three of his boxing matches via KO/TKO, finishing two out of three opponents in the first round, but the 24-year-old plans to take Tyron Woodley into ‘deep waters’ on Aug. 28, predicting a late stoppage victory after he overwhelms ‘T-Wood’ with his cardio and output.
“My pro fights haven’t lasted long, but in sparring, I love taking my opponents into deep waters and drowning them with my overwhelming cardio, consistency, and precise punch selection… Soon we will see how well Tyron can swim,” Paul posted on Instagram yesterday.
Paul has clearly been doing his homework on Woodley, who is not an endurance athlete by any stretch of the imagination. Woodley is one of the most powerful and explosive fighters in the world but the former UFC welterweight champ has struggled with high-volume, high-output-based fighters in the past, losing to pressure fighters in Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington towards the end of his career.
With that said Paul’s cardio is a mystery, given the YouTube star has never been taken into deep waters himself.
Paul vs. Woodley will take place on Aug. 28 at a TBA venue and location.
