Check out the fight card for the UFC 265 pay-per-view, which happens on August 7th in Houston.
The UFC is back in Texas on August 7th, and instead of the actual heavyweight title being on the line at UFC 265, fans will have to settle for an interim title. In the main event, Houston’s own Derrick Lewis takes on Ciryl Gane for the interim strap after the UFC decided Francis Ngannou wanting to fight in September was too long a wait for someone who just fought in March. No doubt it’ll be a partisan crowd in Lewis’ favor.
In the co-main event, two-division champion Amanda Nunes puts her women’s bantamweight title on the line against Julianna Pena. Whatever dislike you may have of the main event and the process behind it, this card as a whole is pretty damn good. Vicente Luque and Michael Chiesa are slated to square off in a key welterweight matchup, while former UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo faces bantamweight contender Pedro Munhoz.
Here’s the lineup for UFC 265 in Houston:
