Werdum is the latest fighter to throw his name into the hat after Bellator CEO Scott Coker said that Alistair Overeem, Junior dos Santos, and Josh Barnett are all interested welcoming Emelianenko back to the Bellator cage for his comeback fight.
Emelianenko, 44, will return to MMA after an 18-month hiatus from the sport at an upcoming Bellator event at the VTB Arena in Moscow, Russia on October 24. The heavyweight legend last fought at Bellator 237, where he knocked out former UFC light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson in the first round.
