Back-to-back knockouts happened at LFA 111 on Friday night.
Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) held its most recent event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and it featured some up-and-coming talent coming out of the region. Names like Marcos Breno and Rodrigo Lidio were making their debuts and we think it is safe to say both men made the most out of their first appearance under the LFA banner.
Breno and Lidio fought on the main portion of the card that was headlined by a lightweight fight between Ismael Bonfim and Rangel de Sá. Up first was Lidio, who added another stunning finish to his record with a knockout of Arthur Lima. Lidio hit Lima with a vicious left hook that saw his opponent immediately fall back to the canvas.
The referee rushed over before Lidio could uncork the planned follow-up shot and waved the fight off at the 23-second mark of the second round. If you want to see the knockout for yourself, then you are in luck. It can be seen below, courtesy of the UFC Fight Pass Twitter account.

Coming right after Lidio was Breno, who served as one-half of the co-main event of the evening opposite of a fellow prospect in Ary Farias. The fight was expected to be a battle between two jiu-jitsu aces, but there would be no grappling exchanges on this night. Breno and Farias got straight to it, opting to trade strikes for the near full minute of action.
Farias began to move forward in an effort to close the distance between him and Breno, which ultimately proved to be a costly decision. Breno caught Farias with an overhand right that saw his opponent stiffen up and faceplant into the canvas just 56 seconds into the first round. That knockout can also be seen below, once again courtesy of the UFC Fight Pass Twitter account.
