The 2021 PFL playoffs continue!
Tonight (Aug. 19) at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida we will see the women’s lightweight and heavyweight semifinals. Unlike previous seasons you don’t need two wins in one night to make the final. Instead, all of the semifinalists compete in their respective divisions over then next few weeks and the $1 million tournament finals will occur on October 27th.
Headlining this card is none other than the undefeated 2019 PFL champion Kayla Harrison against New Zealand’s Genah Fabian. The winner of that matchup takes on the winner of Taylor Guardado vs. Mariana Morais, which definitely wasn’t the planned semifinal but Larissa Pacheco failed to make weight, so Morais gets subbed in.
The heavyweight semifinals consist of Jamelle Jones versus Bruno Cappelozza and Denis Goltsov against Ante Delija.
