Medical suspensions were handed down by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Thursday for last weekends Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum event in Dallas, Texas.
Receiving the lengthiest suspension was lightweight Conor Heun who suffered a broken arm in his win over Magno Almeida. Heun is under a suspension until Aug. 28 of this year for the arm and a potentially torn MCL in his knee.
Headliners Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum received the same 10-day suspensions like most of the competitors from the June 18 event received.
Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum took place on June 18 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The main card aired on Showtime while the prelim card was shown live on HDNet.
