Check out the fourth episode of Embedded for UFC 266.
UFC 266 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s huge show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at the Vegas airport, where Lauren Murphy arrives. She’s happy to be fighting in a big city, because she’s competed on a lot of Fight Nights in smaller places. Robbie Lawler arrives as well. He’s well prepared and ready for a great fight. His driver talks about Muhammad Ali on the way into the city.
Brian Ortega shows up at the fight hotel. We see cameos from Curtis Blaydes and Cynthia Calvillo. Ortega signs posters, and clowns around with his team.
Alexander Volkanovski does media. He doesn’t have a lot of nice things to say about Ortega. He thinks he’s unprofessional. He then does some filming for a future video game. Lawler does a photoshoot as they overlay his comments on Diaz changing weight classes late. He’s basically just like whatever. He likes that he was able to pave the way for younger fighters so they don’t have to deal with all the same crap that he did.
It’s Nick Diaz time. He says he feels great and hopes he feels as good on fight day. He does the photoshoot. He says he’s back because he doesn’t want to look back and wonder.
Tracy Cortez plays media member and asks Ortega some playful questions. Ortega doesn’t believe he’s unprofessional, he’s just late for everything. It’s always been how he is. He does a photoshoot. He says he chooses to be relaxed. Him and Cortez take some pics together.
And that’s it! UFC 266 goes down tomorrow night in Sin City.
