Nate Diaz wants to fight Tony Ferguson, but where does that leave Conor McGregor?

It’s all kicking off on social media this week as Tony Ferguson, Nate Diaz, and Conor McGregor all want to fight each other.

Ferguson called out McGregor on Thursday, which prompted Diaz to call out Ferguson the following day.

Then McGregor, who is tied 1-1 with Diaz, replied with the following hilarious Tweet (now deleted).

The above Tweet is a picture of McGregor being interviewed by Joe Rogan following his horrific leg break against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy bout at UFC 264.

With McGregor sidelined until mid-2022 at the earliest, could we see ‘The Notorious’ perhaps take on the winner of the proposed Ferguson vs. Diaz matchup? This, of course, is all speculation on behalf of the author but let’s see what the fans make of it.

Diaz is looking to rebound from his June. 12 defeat to Leon Edwards while Ferguson, the former interim UFC lightweight champion, is hoping to snap a three-fight skid. ‘El Cucuy’ last fought at UFC 262 where he dropped a lopsided decision defeat to Beneil Dariush.
