Era Fight WearPress Release – June 29, 2011: The Maximum Fighting Championship has entered a new era – one which unveils ERA Fightwear as the new official clothing sponsor of the MFC.

The ERA line was recently featured at MFC 30, and after making an impressive showing, a partnership was forged.

“I’m very excited about the way ERA Fightwear has immerged and really stepped up its game,” said MFC Owner/President Mark Pavelich.

“There’s a lot of passion behind what they are doing, as well as a lot of effort to make something that they are proud of. That’s a major component that they have in common with the MFC, and I think ERA is a great fit to go along with us.

“Clothing brands have come to us, and we’ve helped them grow and get to the next level, and then they’re gone. And we’ve had so many brands approach us and say they want to be with the MFC, but they haven’t been around very long or I didn’t like their stuff, so we waited.

“It’s not always just about money. The clothing had to be something I wanted to wear. With ERA, we’ve got a brand with designs that I will wear and I will tell everyone about.”

The timing worked out perfectly for ERA which was looking to make a hugely identifiable mark in the saturated marketplace of mixed martial arts fightwear.

“We’re unbelievably excited. It couldn’t have worked out better for us than to go with the MFC,” said Jon Nipshank, Co-Owner and CEO of ERA Fightwear. “Mark has been incredible to us and we’re incredibly happy to making this move. This is going to put us on the map in MMA.

“We’ve seen what has happened with other companies when they’ve joined up with the MFC. They’ve gone from being something you’ve never heard of to becoming a well-known name. It’s the same with many of the MFC fighters. You never heard of them until they come to the MFC and suddenly they become somebody.

“Everyone who comes with the MFC has grown because the MFC is so loyal to the people that they have around them.”

Pavelich, who will sport brand-new ERA wear on this Friday’s episode of “Inside MMA” on HDNet, believes the same thing will follow suit for ERA.

“I enjoy bringing something special, that is yet unknown, to the forefront and making it bigger than it ever thought it could be. ERA Fightwear is next,” Pavelich added.

ERA Fightwear not only looks great on the fighters, including rising MFC welterweight sensation Dhiego Lima, but the clothes are classy enough to be worn by fans of all types.

“Everyone has taken plain designs and just thrown them all together, and you don’t even know what the design is. We’ve kept our stuff clean and neat so you can actually see the picture on it,” noted Nipshank, whose inspiration has often come from a love of ninja movies.

“Our latest collection we call the Comic Book Collection because they have that comic book style but we’ve still kept everything clean so that fighters and regular people will wear it. It’s very stylish but anyone can wear it.”
