UFC 267 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs (even if this isn’t a PPV per se) has issued the second episode for this weekend’s huge show on Fight Island, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off at Cory Sandhagen’s house. He says the flight to Abu Dhabi will be okay because of the time change and him being in business class. So he’ll sleep. He thinks it’s strange to pack for traveling to a fight because you don’t need a lot. He wants a fancy finish, but he’s always prepared for ugliness.

Things are now in Glover Teixeira’s hotel room. We hear from a training partner that Glover has had for his whole career, and the partner’s son is there too. He says that the weight is coming off well.

Amanda Ribas likes having everyone in the same hotel because it feels like her judo days. She talks up her opponent Virna Jandiroba, and her father/coach talks Amanda up.

We move to another gym in Abu Dhabi, with Khamzat Chimaev. His coach says that everyone saw him as a Khabib-style grappler, but he’s also knocking people out. That makes him difficult to prepare for. Chimaev says he’s at home in the cage and can’t wait to beat his opponent’s face and eat him. Okay then.

Jan Blachowicz does media, overlaid with some training footage. He respects Glover, and knows that it’s near the end of Teixeira’s career. He says that training is always different because his training partners don’t actually want to hit him. So fighting is a whole different way of thinking, and the mind is the most important thing.

And that’s it! UFC 267 goes down this weekend in Abu Dhabi.
