Ray Cooper III earned his second $1 million check from Professional Fighters League (PFL) last night (Weds., Oct. 27, 2021) by stopping Magomed Magomedkerimov via devastating knockout in the third round. By doing so, “Bradda Boy” repeated as season champion and got revenge on Magomedkerimov, who defeated him in 2018 to win that season.

Afterward, Cooper talked about his win and threw down the gauntlet, saying he is confident he can take out not only Bellator’s champion Yaroslav Amasov, but UFC wrecking machine Kamaru Usman, as well.

“I know I’m the best. I’ll take out the UFC champion, the Bellator champion. We should go out and unify the belts. Put me against anybody, I’ll take them all out,” said a highly-confident Cooper.

His comments were echoed by PFL President Ray Sefo, who said his fighter is without a doubt the best 170-pounder in the game today.

When asked about his fighting future, Cooper says he is more than happy with PFL but wouldn’t comment further about where he will be fighting next, reiterating that he wasn’t thinking about his next move just yet. As for Sefo, he shut down any talks of Cooper being a free agent.

“I don’t know where you guys got your information from, but Ray is not a free agent,” he said, bringing an awkward silence to the room. Neither Sefo nor Cooper talked about the topic further during the presser.

For now, Cooper will go back home to Hawaii and enjoy his back-to-back million-dollar championship wins and plan out his fighting future with his team along with Sefo and company.
