Check out the betting odds for tonight’s UFC 267 event, which features two title fights atop the main card, plus the return of Khamzat Chimaev.
It’s time for a stacked UFC 267 card to get going from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The UFC’s light heavyweight champion, Jan Blachowicz, will be defending his title against Glover Teixeira in the main event, and then a vacant interim bantamweight belt will be up for grabs when Petr Yan tangles with Cory Sandhagen. The free main card will also see the return of the 9-0 undefeated Khamzat Chimaev, who will be taking on the one they call “The Leech,” Jingliang Li. Before all that happens, though, let’s take a gander at the betting lines for these two championship contests, Khamzat’s return, and for the rest fo the UFC 267 lineup.
Jan Blachowicz is getting the respect he has earned from the bookies by being offered up as a -300 betting favorite, to Glover Teixeira’s underdog value of +245. It seems like the betting world is on board with Jan winning this one, but torn on whether or not he will put Glover away. The proposition ‘Not Blachowicz inside distance’ is sporting a slightly favored moneyline of -125, with the ‘Blachowicz wins inside distance’ option registering at a slightly better value of -110.
The prop bet for Jan scoring a knockout is trying its best to not dip into minus territory as ‘Blachowicz wins by TKO/KO’ is treading water at +100 even money. That’s a far cry from Glover’s knockout prop of ‘Teixeira wins by TKO/KO’ that’s soaring high at +600, which according to the lines is Teixeira’s best shot at finally becoming a UFC champion. The wager ‘Teixeira wins by submission’ is available at +700, and then the bet ‘Teixeira wins by decision’ is trending a bit higher than that at +900. The proposition, ‘Blachowicz wins by decision’ is on tap at +260, and then ‘Blachowicz wins by submission’ has been deemed the least likely of all of these props at +1400.
The odds for the UFC 267 co-main event have the former undisputed champ, Petr Yan, on deck as a -260 betting favorite. Getting disqualified to lose his belt doesn’t take away from the fact of just how ridiculously great Yan is at MMA. So, the oddsmakers aren’t expecting Cory Sandhagen to be walking away with any gold that night, and his underdog value is floating around the +215 mark.
Will this interim title fight be lasting all-five rounds? Well, the odds are split on that one with both the ‘Fight goes to decision’ and ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ props being listed with little minus lines around -111. The odds for the most likely method of victory here belongs to the exotic wager ‘Yan wins by decision,’ which still clocks in with plenty of value at +165. The ‘Sandhagen wins by decision’ bet is posted up with a much heftier dog tag than that at +500.
Khamzat Chimaev took the UFC by storm in just three appearances, backing up his talk with a trio of sensational finishes. He’s making his return at UFC 267 as a -620 betting favorite against a +460 underdog in Jingliang Li. Khamzat is also favored to finish “The Leech” with the prop bet ‘Chimaev wins inside distance’ sporting a moneyline of -190. On the other side of that coin, there’s ‘Jingliang wins inside distance’ being served up with a massive dog tag of +600.
