Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Some beefs are only possible due to the wonders of the Internet. Were it not for Twitter and other social media, how would a retired UFC Middleweight champion and current color commentator end up in a feud with a semi-active Bellator Welterweight? In other words: Mike Bisping and Dillon Danis are once again trading shots on the web.
With Bisping in New York City, New York as part of the UFC 268 promotion (more highlights from Bisping’s NYC visit to come), Danis asked why the Englishman didn’t come see him given some of his recent comments (H/T Adam Martin).
you fucked up @bisping not checking in with me when you come to NYC see you soon ??
— Dillon Danis (@dillondanis) November 4, 2021
“You f—ked up @bisping not checking in with me when you come to NYC see you soon,” Danis tweeted.
Naturally, “The Count” has never been one way to shy away from some verbal warfare. The former champion did not take long to fire back at Danis, though he doesn’t expect that Danis is actually willing to elevate the conflict beyond Twitter.
Yeah buddy? Come see me. I ain’t going no where. I’ll send location any time you little shit stain. I shouldn’t of responded cos you’re just all talk, but please, I’m around if you wanna “talk” https://t.co/RiFjHq7Hgq

“Yeah buddy? Come see me. I ain’t going no where,” Bisping replied. “I’ll send location any time you little s—t stain. I shouldn’t of responded cos you’re just all talk, but please, I’m around if you wanna ‘talk.’”
When Danis tried to reply with a financial insult, well, Bisping had an answer for that too, claiming to have “made more money from commentary than you made from fighting.”
hahah broke? Made more money from commentary than you made from fighting. Give it a rest you little fucking dork and stop tweeting and deleting like you’re little mentor. pic.twitter.com/QsmX6u63jT

Of course, Danis would be well-advised to score vengeance over that bouncer who choked him out before he tries to take on a more established figure like Bisping. Is there any chance this feud develops into a real life scrap?
Insomnia
Kamaru Usman and Justin Gaethje is the wholesome bromance MMA needs right now, and Usman is somehow more jacked than usual?
@Usman84kg & @Justin_Gaethje share 3?? words to describe each other.

Fernand Lopez has been taking heavy blows on mitts for years (from both Francis Ngannou and now Ciryl Gane), but he’s fighting back!

I would love the video, but apparently Daniel Cormier was eating chicken so ruthlessly that the camera had to cut away. Get that man on Hot Ones!

Zhang Weili 2.0 is shredded!
The vast majority of what Colby Covington said at today’s presser was at least a bit cringey, but “Chaos” had a couple zingers in there too.

UFC 268 is a pricey card, see how it stacks up vs. other NYC events:
#UFC268 on Saturday will be the most expensive #UFC event at #MSG since 2017. With two title fight rematches and a stacked card overall, there’s good reason. ? #MMA #Tickets
