WEC 48’s Scott Jorgensen calm and collected as shot at redemption nears

Scott Jorgensen knows he only has himself to blame for for a June 2009 loss at WEC 41 – one that remains the only blemish on his record over his past six WEC fights.

Jorgensen got cracked early in that fight, and in an effort to prove to both himself and his opponent that he wasn’t hurt, he ditched a carefully constructed game plan and swung for the one-punch knockout.

He, unfortunately, never got it. But in the first-ever WEC pay-per-view bout this weekend, Jorgensen has an opportunity to avenge that frustrating split-decision loss to Antonio Banuelos in a highly anticipated rematch of the bantamweights.
