UFC vet David Loiseau replaces injured Nick Catone, faces John Salter at UFC 113

Former UFC middleweight contender David Loiseau has been called in as a short-notice replacement to fight John Salter on the non-televised portion of UFC 113.

Sources close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com that Salter’s original opponent, Nick Catone, was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a back injury.

UFC 113 takes place May 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal and is the promotion’s third event on Canadian soil. A light-heavyweight title rematch between current champion Lyoto Machida and challenger Mauricio “Shogun” Rua headlines the show.
