Press Release – Wreck MMA is proud to announce an update to our October 28th event entitled Unfinished Business. Headlined by a welterweight title bout between Nabil ‘The Thrill’ Khatib and Nathan Gunn, Wreck can officially announce the co-main event which will feature Nick ‘The Ninja of Love’ Denis against Bellator and Score Fighting Series veteran Nick ‘Garfield’ Mamalis.

When deciding who is the top Bantamweight in Canada, the debate has raged on between Adrian Wooley and Mamalis’ opponent in October, Nick Denis. In June, Mamalis shocked all of Canada by defeating Wooley at the Score Fighting Series event. Now Denis gets the opportunity to prove that he is the #1 bantamweight in Canada as he takes on the man who defeated his closest rival. Both fighters like to stand and bang and the fans will be at the edge of their seat as anything can happen in this bout.

In a special attraction bout, UFC veteran and member of the famous Gracie family, Rolles Gracie will be making his Canadian debut against one of the most respected trainers in Canada, Lee Mein. Gracie’s brother Igor was the first Gracie to fight in Eastern Canada and now Rolles comes back to the same town where his brother triumped in victory.

Rolles Gracie is the grandson of Carlos Gracie Sr., the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and son of Rolls Gracie, who is widely considered to be the Gracie family’s most legendary Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Rolles is physically the largest in the history of the Gracie clan, standing at 6’ 4” and weighing 250 pounds. He is a third-degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a multi-title holding champion, not only BJJ, but also in Judo and submission wrestling. Rolles moved to New York City in 2004 to teach and train with Renzo Gracie, at the Renzo Gracie Academy. Rolles is the Head Instructor at the Renzo Gracie Academy in Holmdel, New Jersey. He teaches private seminars all over the world with clients such as The New York Jets, NYPD, Fort Meyers Police Academy and the United States Navy Seals.

The event also features some of the top talents in the Ottawa region as Mike Reilly, Remi Morvan, Mustafa Khalil, Randy Turner, Chris St-Jean and other local talent will be competing at this event. Tickets are available from the fighters, via Ticketmaster.ca or by calling (613) 755-1111. Buy your tickets now as there are only 1500 seats available and this event will once again sell out!!
