After this week’s shocker with Dana White dumping Nick Diaz as the title contender against Georges St. Pierre on the morning UFC 137 tickets went on sale ’cause Diaz went MIA on a Las Vegas press conference after missing his flight to a Toronto presser the day before and then Dana decided to offer Diaz the replacement position against BJ Penn as Carlos Condit accepted the Main Event fight against GSP… (are you following this?) and Dana saying, anyone who didn’t want their purchased tickets after hearing of the new Main Event change could get a refund…(whew, take a breath) NOW a UFC press release states, UFC 137 TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!
What can we say? Yes, Dana is a freakin’ genius.
UFC 137 goes down this October 29th in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay. A little tip for ya, if you decide to loiter the Mandalay Bay Events Center looking for tickets… Anyone who asks you if you have tickets… They’re ACTURALLY TRYING TO SELL THEM TO YOU. Yep. Sneaky illegal activity. You’re welcome. But, if you get arrested… You’re on your own. I don’t know you, kid. Scram.
