Fabio Maldonado scratched from UFC on Versus 6 due to injury

An undisclosed injury has forced Fabio Maldonado out of next month’s UFC on Versus 6 event and a light-heavyweight bout with Aaron Rosa.

UFC officials today announced the news.

A replacement is being sought for the Oct. 1 bout, which takes place at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
