UFC EXEC TO SPEAK AT ANNUAL FIGHT SUMMIT MMA BUSINESS CONFERENCE MONSTER ENERGY SUPPORTS EVENT
Press Release – (Merrick, New York): Fight Summit, the world’s first and only mixed martial arts industry conference and expo, is proud to announce the addition of Monster Energy Drink as the official energy drink sponsor. Monster joins a host of other major sponsors, such as Triumph United and Zebra Mats, and joins a list of over fifty exhibitors targeting the business insiders of the mixed martial arts community.
Additionally, Fight Summit has announced an added major business workshop to their already impressive array of MMA business education. Michael Mersch, VP, Business & Legal affairs and assistant general counsel for the Ultimate Fighting Championships, will host a powerful seminar on the opening show day. Mersch joins a list of over twenty other renowned MMA insiders discussing their trade secrets in an effort to educate the MMA business world and share the keys to their success – including representatives from Triumph United, Jaco Clothing, Bad Boy, Maximum Fighting Championships, Bellator Fighting Championships, and Do Or Die, as well as famed MMA trainers Greg Jackson and Jonathan Chaimberg, MMA agents Ken Pavia and Ed Soares, and highly touted sports psychologist Brian Cain, among others.
Fight Summit has also brought on Hans Molenkamp of Triumph United as Strategic Brand Director to the event. “Hans has been a supporter of our event from day one, and has been a valuable asset to our team,” explains Fight Summit creator Mike Hauben. “It was a no-brainer to officially bring him on as part of the team, and we couldn’t have found someone better to be helping us with the event.”
Fight Summit takes place Dec 1-2, 2011 at the Rio in Las Vegas, the day after the World MMA Awards on November 30, which is also in Las Vegas. Fight Summit debuted in December of 2010 as the first group to address the needs of the thriving MMA business community, offering incredible education and networking opportunities that were unmatched anywhere else in the world. The December 2011 event looks to be bigger and better, and promises to be a highly rare and valuable opportunity for anyone operating a business in the mixed martial arts industry.
