Bellator CEO says Lombard could return in season two, still interested in Filho matchup

If you blinked, you might have missed Bellator middleweight champion
Hector Lombard’s return to action at this past week’s Bellator 18 event.

The Cuban judoka needed just six seconds to dispose of non-title
challenger Jay Silva, and as Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney recently told
MMAjunkie.com Radio, Lombard didn’t even break a sweat.

So with another five live events remaining before the June 24 conclusion
of Bellator’s second season, Rebney said he’d like to see Lombard back
in action – and he wouldn’t mind seeing him against Brazilian Paulo
Filho.
