It’s official.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be staging its blockbuster UFC 300 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card on Sat., April 13, 2024 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with preliminary card bouts streaming on both ESPN+ and ESPN at 6 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET, followed by the PPV main card, also on ESPN+, at 10 p.m. ET.
No fights have been announced for the UFC 300 lineup just yet, but promotion CEO, Dana White, is promising an “insane” lineup.
“Well think about tonight and the buzz and the energy about tonight’s card,” White told reporters at the UFC 296 post-fight press conference. “And think about the stuff I’m telling you guys about [UFC 299 in] Miami. So we’ve got to beat this, Miami and a bunch of other great cards that are going to happen this year. I don’t remember who I was talking to, but the way I see UFC 300 is when it comes, people are going to be going, ‘Holy S**T! That’s the first Prelim of the night?’ That’s what UFC 300 is going to be?”
It’s no secret that former two-division champion, Conor McGregor, is currently being pursued for the UFC 300 main event.
“Notorious” is rumored to be facing off against fellow Ultimate Fighter coach Michael Chandler, though all interested parties have remained tight-lipped for the time being. There’s also that super-secret, pop-up mega-fight that doesn’t involve McGregor, according to these recent comments from White.
Expect UFC 300 fight card announcements to start trickling in over the next few weeks, once matchmakers put the finishes touches on UFC 298 and UFC 299.
