TJ Dillashaw is “planting the seeds” … and I’m trying very hard to suppress a GMO joke.

The former UFC bantamweight champion retired from combat sports back in late 2022 after suffering a career-ending shoulder injury, then walked back said retirement just a few months later. Dillashaw turns 38 in just a few weeks so whatever success he plans to “harvest” needs to happen sooner, rather than later.

Here’s a pic from his Instagram page:

Fans were going wild in the comments section:

—McGregor effect

—TJ Dillajacked

—Bro is huge

—TJs evolution into Joe Rogan?

—Bro turned into Ryan Bader. Letsss gooo

—Thought it was Matt Hamill for a second

—Dude stole Overeem’s horsemeat

At least one former rival is still bitter about it.

Dillashaw (17-5) returned from drug suspension in summer 2021 and put together a 1-1 record before walking out. After scoring a split decision victory over Cory Sandhagen at UFC Vegas 32, the former “Ultimate Fighter” finalist fell to Aljamain Sterling at UFC 280.

Comeback in 2024? Appears to be all the rage these days.
