Sometimes, fighters can be too honest.
Lights Out Xtreme Fighting 13 (LXF 13) went down tonight (Sat., Jan. 6, 2023) from inside Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA, and in a featured fight on the “Prelims” amateur fighter Andrew Campos defended his Featherweight title against Daniel Renteria by tapping him out 48 seconds with a slick triangle choke.

While the finish was excellent, it was overshadowed by Campos’ post-fight speech.
“You know, I feel like this is what I was meant to do; this is why God put me on this earth,” Campos said. “I feel like I don’t deserve any of this; I’m a sinner. I’ve been living in the darkness for too long, I’ve been smoking weed every day, and I’ve been watching porn, but I gave all that up. I gave my life to the lord, and now I’m here, man. You call upon his name and believe in him; he can change your life. I was living in the dark, but now I’m in the light, guys.”

You know what, good for you, Campos, whatever makes you a better person and continue to win fights.
Campos, 24, is currently 5-1 as an amateur with two finishes in under a minute and plans “to get better” and put some more muscle on before turning professional.
Lights Out Xtreme Fighting is a promotion run by former NFL linebacker Shawn Merriman, and he recently announced a partnership with a viral internet sensation fight promotion Street Beefs.
