Nam Phan will fight for the third time in fewer than five months when he takes on fellow featherweight Jim Hettes at UFC 141.
Verbal agreements are in place for the fight, according to UFC officials.
Featuring a heavyweight headliner between former UFC champ Brock Lesnar and recent Strikeforce titleholder Alistair Overeem, UFC 141 takes place Dec. 30 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
