William Gomis will not be fighting at UFC 301.
“The Jaguar” was pulled from the May 4 lineup at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, according to La Sueur, after being carried from the official UFC 301 weigh ins, unable to exit the stage under his own power. Gomis reportedly vomited backstage and came in underweight, still dressed, for his featherweight showdown opposite hometown hero Jean Silva.
The official weights were 143 (Gomis) and 146 (Silva).
