Fans are used to Conor McGregor “drinking too much and smoking all day.”

But recent videos of “Notorious” acting like a party animal are not to be taken seriously, according to former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns. “Durinho” suggests McGregor is channeling disgraced boxer Ryan Garcia, who spent his Devin Haney fight camp behaving like a complete loon.

“I think he is,” Burns told Show Me The Money. “He’s not drinking. I don’t think he’s drinking. He’s playing a Ryan Garcia character. 100 percent.”

Let’s hope that doesn’t mean a weight miss and a positive drug test.

McGregor will make his long-awaited return to the Octagon when he battles fellow TUF 31 coach Michael Chandler atop the UFC 303 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, locked and loaded for Sat., June 29, 2024 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Irishman’s first MMA fight since breaking his leg back in summer 2021.
