Is Conor McGregor really partying every weekend, or is it all a trick to lull Michael Chandler into a false sense of security for their UFC 303 fight? After UFC 302, White v
What is going on with Conor McGregor? Not even UFC CEO Dana White knows the answer to that.
White was asked about footage of McGregor partying it up at his Black Forge Inn that keeps popping up on social media. Six weeks out from his UFC 303 fight against Michael Chandler, “The Notorious” posted some wild footage of him dancing and celebrating with his wife and several hundred patrons until the early hours of the morning.
And then what may be new footage showed up during UFC 302, which is four weeks out. Is Mac out of control? It’s a question we definitely have to ask after the UFC canceled a Dublin press conference set for today (Monday June 3rd, 2024). And it’s a question Dana White didn’t have an answer to when he was asked about the party footage on Saturday at the UFC 302 post-fight press conference.

Not that he sounded too worried at the time.
“We were talking about Jon Jones,” White said with a laugh. “Jon Jones was doing a lot of that stuff too back in the day, and many other fighters throughout history. I don’t know what’s real on the internet and what’s not real on the internet. I don’t know timing-wise. In one of them he’s got a beard, in one of them he doesn’t have a beard. I have no idea, I don’t know if any of that is real or true or whatever.”
“But Conor is not a dumb guy and, you know, this is obviously a big fight for him. He’s calling it the best comeback in the history of sports and all of that stuff. So we’ll see what happens. I’ll actually be with him tomorrow. I’m flying there right now. So I’ll see what’s going on.”
Dana White comments on the Conor McGregor club footage just weeks out from #UFC303.

White did indeed leave for Ireland shortly after UFC 302 … and then the promotion told Michael Chandler not to bother coming to Dublin. They then officially announced on Monday morning at 5 A.M. local time that the presser was off.
“It’s going to be awesome,” White said about the since-canceled event. “I’m excited to be going back to Ireland and love the people over there. There’s always great energy, it’s going to be fun. I’m looking forward to it.”
We’re looking forward to finding out why it was canceled.
