Hear Paige VanZant explain why she’s decided to make her Power Slap debut this Friday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Paige VanZant is set to make her Power Slap debut on June 28th, and the whole world is wondering … why???

VanZant left the UFC with a 5-4 record in 2020 and went on to go 0-2 in Bare Knuckle FC. But the only numbers that really matter are her OnlyFans numbers, which have made her a massive pile of money over the past couple of years. Paige was one of the first crossover stars to hit it big on OnlyFans, and the money she makes in combat sports is chump change compared to that.

So why is she showing up to Power Slap 8 in Las Vegas this Friday? “12 Guage” explained in a new promo on the UFC’s YouTube channel.

“When I first saw Power Slap, I thought, ‘Holy s—, that’s insane!’” VanZant said. “When I see stuff that is crazy and exciting, it instantly makes me want to do it. I’m definitely an adrenaline junkie and I have been since a very young age. I did grow up dancing and I was a cheerleader, but I like to have the thrills in life. I love to compete, I love to be violent and this literally the epitome of … being a dog.”

She’s also excited to add another gem to her Infinity Gauntlet of competition.

“Another combat sport,” she said with a laugh. “MMA, boxing, bare knuckle boxing, pro wrestling … Power Slap!”

VanZant clearly likes to mix it up, and she learned early that popping up in new and unexpected places helped her go viral amongst new fans. She did it on the cooking show Chopped, she did it on Dancing With The Stars, and she did it with Bare Knuckle Boxing. While BKFC was a wild choice, it also was a smart one: she generated a ton of attention deciding to compete in the gnarliest new fightsport around.

And now she does it again with Power Slap.

So is Dana White busting out the big bucks to bring Paige in? She’s undoubtedly getting a few more bucks than your average slapper. But as always, the real money will come through her OnlyFans page, which needs exactly the kind of attention injection Power Slap’s extremely viral content will bring.

Through 2023, posts on VanZant’s VIP OnlyFans page were generating 1500 to 3000 likes each. That dropped down to the 500 to 1000 region in 2024, and now they’re sitting at 200 to 500. Will those numbers rocket back up off the interest in her Power Slap debut? VanZant is undoubtedly hoping they will. But if she’s basing her expectations off Dana White’s slightly embellished claims, she may be disappointed.
