King Green knows how the game is played.

That’s why the fighter formerly known as “Bobby” has given fans the green light to bash him on social media, because the warrior code states “kill or be killed” — and Green got killed by Paddy Pimblett at the UFC 304 pay-per-view (PPV) event last weekend in Manchester.

Maybe he thought he was fighting a 14 year-old girl?

“What a day. Thank you guys for checking in on me. I’m okay, I guess. Sh*t happens,” Green said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories (transcribed by MMA Junkie). “I felt like I slipped into some sh*t and it all just went the perfect way. I had a bad night. No excuses. Sh*t happens. I live by a code: Kill or be killed. Today, I got killed. Let the ridicule begin. I know what comes with this. You guys can talk your sh*t. Let’s go.”

Green slipped to 32-16-1 (1 NC) with his loss to “The Baddy.”

Pimblett (22-3) is expected to replace Green in the official lightweight rankings when the updated list is released later this week. After competing three times in 2022, the 29 year-old scouser has only fought once in 2023 and once in 2024, partly due to his ankle injury.
