Dricus Du Plessis is not a “Naked” insurance salesman, but he plays one on TV.

“Stillknocks” is currently peddling “the world’s first wait-loss insurance app” for Naked Financial Technology in Johannesburg, South Africa, in what can only be described as the greatest display of acting since Matt Hughes introduced the world to his Country Breakfast.

“It’s true, I am overwait,” Du Plessis said. “I’m not pointing fingers. I’m not blaming my nutritionist or my coaches.”

“The real cause for all this extra wait is my old car insurance company. Every time I phone them, I wait. I wait hours to speak to a call center.”

Du Plessis is scheduled to make his first 185-pound title defense against former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya atop the UFC 305 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Sat., Aug. 17, 2024 at RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia.
