Internet celebrities and athletes return to the boxing ring as they work their way through the celebrity “Sweet Science.”

KSI’s Misfits Boxing promotion returns TONIGHT (Sat., Aug. 10, 2024) live from James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The main event is headlined by Thomas Oliveira (a.k.a. Faze Temper) versus Josh Brueckner in a five-round affair.

There’s some fun and interesting bouts on the undercard, too, with some familiar faces like former Bellator fighter (and Dillon Dannis puncher), Anthony Taylor, taking on Karate Combat veteran, Samuel Ericsson, for the promotion’s Light Heavyweight title. Then, there’s Misfits mainstay, YuddyGang TV (Elijah Smith), going up against “Argentinian King”, Facundo Hernandez, while undefeated (4-0) professional boxer, J’Hon Ingram, bringing his talents to the influencer scene going up against journeyman-boxer, Ryan Schwartzberg, and adult actress Leah Gotti (real name Raegan Leah Brogdon) fighting former-ring-card-girl-turned pugilist Amber Fields.

“Faze Temper” Thomas Oliveira vs. Josh Brueckner

Back and forth a bit as both men start with aggressive shots. Good 2-piece combo by Brueckner. Temper landing some offense of his own, but he’s looking a bit outmatched here. Brueckner getting the better of most of these early exchanges. A big flurry by Brueckner! Two rights, a left. Two more rights. A left sends Temper crashing to the canvas. He gets up, but looks on wobbly legs. Huge right snaps Oliveira’s head back like a Pez dispenser. He’s about to fall and eats a 1-2 on the way down. That’s it.

Final result: Josh Brueckner defeats Thomas “Faze Temper” Oliveira

Anthony Taylor vs. Samuel Ericsson for the Misfits Boxing Light Heavyweight Title

Taylor taking the front foot early. He’s done a lot of punch and clutch for most of his boxing career, but he’s actually looking to manage distance correctly. Taylor with a series of thudding right hands. Ericsson clinches.

Two punches to the body land for A.T. and a right upstairs clips Ericsson. I think that hit him on the temple and he fell over onto the mat. Ericsson is up. Taylor swinging hook after hook, and landing almost all of them. Ericsson takes a knee more than got knocked down it looked like, and the ref didn’t like what she saw – she waives it off and it’s all over in favor of the champ.

Final result: Anthony Tayler defeats Samuel Ericsson
