“Moicano” wants money! (and harder fights).
Renato Moicano returns to action for the first time since his epic win at UFC 300 (watch highlights), locking horns with French killer, Benoit Saint-Denis, in the main event of UFC Paris, which takes place this weekend (Sept. 28, 2024) inside Accor Arena in Paris, France.
While all of his attention is on his upcoming main event spot, Moicano has a planned “money fight” with Paddy Pimblett in the future at some point … and it could be next.
” I think so — and that’s going to be a good fight,” Moicano told MMA Junkie when asked if Pimblett would be next. “If they can do The Ultimate Fighter, it would be even greater. Imagine two motherf—kers who don’t speak English on National TV with subtitles? Just that would be fun.”
Moicano praised “The Baddy” for his big win over Bobby Green earlier this year (watch highlights), while dissing another ranked UFC Lightweight.
“[Pimblett] is a harder than Dan Hooker, brother, I think so,” Moicano said. “His last fight, he did great against Bobby Green — what can I say? He did good. Bobby Green is a tough fighter. Bobby Green is tough to finish. [Hooker] is above me in the rankings, and I say to you, I like easy fights, so who knows what happens.”
There’s no doubt a fight between Moicano vs. Pimblett would be amazing, in and outside of the cage, and it should be Moicano’s next win or lose.
