Professional Fighters League (PFL) today held a special media day video scrum for select combatants competing on the “Battle of Giants” pay-per-view (PPV) card this Sat. night (Oct. 19, 2024) at The Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (order the stream here).
Featured fighters Paul Hughes, Johnny Eblen, AJ McKee, Fabian Edwards, and Ibragim Ibragimov were all in attendance this morning at the promotion’s host hotel. Hughes and McKee go to war at 155 pounds not long before Eblen and Edwards hook ‘em up at middleweight.
Ibragimov battles Nacho Campos at 145 pounds.
“The fight I really want to see is the one that’s going to kick off the pay-per-view card: A.J. McKee against Paul Hughes,” said PFL CEO Pete Murray. “Paul Hughes is an Irish kid on a run, really talented, very passionate. A.J.’s one of the best in the world in the weight class. That top of the card is going to be a night to remember, not just for the athletes but for fans around the world.”
PFL “Battle of the Giants” is headlined by Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira, with Cris Cyborg battling Larrissa Pacheco in the co-main event.
