Khamzat Chimaev is rooting for Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.

Probably because Trump is a longtime friend of UFC CEO Dana White and having the real estate mogul back in the Oval Office is the quickest way to secure a visa to enter the United States — even though “Borz” later claimed his stateside ban is bunk.

“Of course,” Chimaev told Kevin Iole about fighting in the United States. “Let Donald Trump win the fight and I will be there.”

White reposted the video, leading Trump to call Chimaev “a great fighter.”

How great? That depends on his performance against ex-middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in the UFC 308 co-main event this weekend in Abu Dhabi, a showcase fight that could elevate “Borz” from overhyped prospect to legitimate title contender.
