Conor McGregor withdrew from the UFC 303 pay-per-view (PPV) main event with a broken toe, making him the last fighter on the active roster with the right to make fun of current welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.
“Remember the Name” is suffering from a debilitating bone infection in his toe (see the photos here) and will no longer be able to fight Shavkat Rakhmonov atop the UFC 310 fight card, scheduled for Sat., Dec. 7, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McGregor replied with a series of laughing emojis.
“I have this for antibiotics,” Muhammad fired back. “You use needles because you are junkie. We are not the same.”
McGregor has long teased a trip to 170 pounds to compete for the welterweight strap but the idea of “Notorious” getting a title shot is laughable when you consider he doesn’t fight and when he does actually show up, keeps losing.
But it’s all good because he’s rich and that’s all that matters, I guess.
