Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is going going, back back, to Cali Cali.

Today (Mon., Nov. 18, 2024), UFC announced its first pay-per-view (PPV) of 2025, UFC 311 will take place on Jan. 18, 2025, from inside the brand spanking new Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, Calif. UFC has not been back to Los Angeles since UFC 232 in 2018.

Intuit Dome is home to the Los Angeles Clippers and opened on Aug. 15, 2024. UFC traveled to Anaheim, Calif., earlier this year (and signed a deal to bring more fights there) but will skip them for “The City of Angeles.”

UFC CEO Dana White discussed the decision to go to the new arena during the UFC 309 post-fight press conference.

“It’s new. I like new arenas and new technology, and, yeah, this place is supposed to be badass. I’m looking forward to checking it out. I can’t wait,” White said.

It has been heavily rumored that Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan will headline the PPV event. MMAMania.com can confirm that this is the plan, but contracts have not been signed.

Other UFC 311 fights are the following

  • Jailton Almeida vs. Serghei Spivac
  • Rinya Nakamura vs. Muin Gafurov
  • Johnny Walker vs. Bogdan Guskov
  • Karol Rosa vs. Ailín Perez
  • Zachary Reese vs. Sedriques Dumas
  • Raoni Barcelos vs. Payton Talbott
