Allen and Hernandez fought back in 2018 for Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) in the main event of LFA 32. Hernandez won a five-round unanimous decision for the LFA middleweight championship.
Allen (24-6) had his seven-fight win streak snapped in his last outing against Nassourdine Imavov via unanimous decision at UFC Paris. Prior to the loss, Allen had five of his seven opponents all by way of submission, including Paul Craig, Andre Muniz, and Krzysztof Jotko.
Hernandez (13-2-1) is riding a five-fight win streak and is coming off a beatdown of Michel Pereira in the main event of UFC Vegas 99. Before bludgeoning Pereira, “Fluffy” stopped Roman Kopylov, Edmen Shahbazyan, and Marc-André Barriault. Hernandez will jump into the Middleweight Top 10 rankings with a win over Allen (watch highlights)
