2+2=7?
It has been two weeks since Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Michael Chandler lost a lopsided decision to Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 inside the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City (watch highlights).
Since the brutal fight that left “Iron” peeing blood, Chandler has had a rough post-fight recovery, and just yesterday, he shared a video of his disgusting, battered, swollen leg.
Today (Wed., Nov. 27, 2024), Chandler opened up about his fight with “Do Bronx” with Ariel Helwani and gave a pretty delusional statement.
“I’m not happy with my performance. I would give myself a 2 out of 10,” Chandler said. I cannot overstate how horrible of a performance this was or the set of circumstances it was after that first round compared to what my vision was for what I’m capable of. I believe I beat Charles Oliveira nine times out of ten. Obviously, I’ve lost to him twice now – two outta two. I have a 100% loss rate to Charles Oliveira, so I understand why people might roll their eyes at that.”
Well, yeah, Mike, we’re rolling our eyes because you should have said, “I believe I beat Charles Oliveira eight times out of ten because…MATH. Chandler can believe anything he wants, but the results tell the story.
Nevertheless, “Iron” is still planting the seed for a future Conor McGregor fight, but unfortunately, that may be just a dream at this point.
Bud you lost 2 times out of 2
The math ain’t mathing
