Gadzhi Rabadanov is the new PFL lightweight champion.
The 31 year-old Russian remained undefeated under the PFL/Bellator banner and captured his tenth straight victory by stopping Brent Primus as part of the PFL Championships on Friday at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Primus was already in trouble by that point.
Rabadanov (24-4-1) is the longtime friend and training partner of Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov, who is expected to defend his 155-pound strap against Paul Hughes this January in Dubai.
Primus, who turns 40 in April, falls to 15-4 (1 NC) in defeat. The longtime Bellator bruiser had gone five straight fights without a loss (thanks to this) and was looking to secure the biggest payday of his career against the 31 year-old Rabadanov.
