Former UFC flyweight title challenger, Taila Santos, was supposed to be Dakota Ditcheva’s toughest test to date when they went to war in the PFL Championships co-main event on Friday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Instead, she was just another victim.
Ditcheva smashed Santos in the second round to secure a technical knockout finish and win the flyweight crown. Her performance pushed “Dangerous” to 14-0 with 12 wins by way of knockout. After the fight, Ditcheva mocked the Brazilian for her pre-fight trash talk.
“She’s been talking, ‘She’s just a Barbie, she should be a model.’ Well, a model just beat your ass in round two, so shut up,” Ditcheva, 26, said after the fight. “No more PFL shows until we’ve been to Manchester!”
