Former UFC welterweight headliner, Nate Diaz, was charged with misdemeanor battery after putting hands on security personnel outside Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, an incident that was captured on camera last August.

His case is ongoing, according to a report from TMZ.

Unlike the fake Logan Paul incident, which saw Diaz acting in self defense, the court documents indicate Diaz was the aggressor, slapping the glasses off the responding security guard after causing a stink at the club entrance.

Diaz, 39, has yet to issue a statement on the altercation.

Public slap attacks are nothing new for Diaz and his crew, who were back in the headlines last week for chucking water bottles during the UFC 311 press conference. Perhaps he’s not the role model his former coach suggested in this recent interview.

Diaz (21-13) has not competed in MMA since his submission win over Tony Ferguson as part of the UFC 279 pay-per-view (PPV) back in late 2022, a bout that preceded his much-ballyhooed boxing debut against YouTube pugilist Jake Paul.
