Mike Tyson doesn’t remember his Jake Paul fight from last month in Texas.

I’m sure a lot of fans wish they could forget that eight-round abomination, one that was plagued with connectivity issues from start to finish — even though Netflix executives dismissed the sketchy stream as nothing more than “online chatter.”

That’s for the court to decide.

“I don’t remember the fight that much, I kind of blanked out a little,” Tyson told Fox Sports Radio (transcribed by NY Post). “I remember coming back from the first round and Jake is doing some kind of … I don’t know what he was doing (leans forward pretending to bow) and that’s the last thing I remember.”

“I don’t remember it, but my body was really sore (after the fight),” the 58 year-old pugilist continued. “My chest, my stomach was really sore. The day after I woke up and said to my wife, ‘why did I do that?’ I just don’t know what the hell was going on.”

It certainly looked that way from his (non) performance.

Despite his lopsided loss to Paul, Tyson refuses to use the word “retirement” in regards to his fighting future. That may explain why “Iron” continues to get called out by fellow boxers, including this aging legend who shares a personal (and painful) history.

Add it to the ever-growing list of boxing embarrassments.
